DR. DAVID GORDON
Dr. Gordon has over ten years of experience treating adults and children in all phases of general dentistry. He has also completed many post-graduate courses in cosmetics, occlusion and orthodontics. His caring, outgoing personality and commitment to the highest level of dentistry earned him the New Dentist of the Year award in 1997.

• Austin’s New Dentist of the Year 1997
• Past President of the Academy of General Dentistry, Central Texas
• University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio graduate 1994

Diana Barajas – Patient/Treatment Coordinator
Diana joined our team in 2008. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and will help you with many aspects of your dental care, from scheduling your appointment to assisting Dr. Gordon with your treatment. As a true Austinite, she enjoys going to the movies with her husband.
Sommer Williams – Insurance Coordinator
Sommer helped launch Dr. Gordon’s solo practice in 1999. She is well versed in all phases and aspects of dentistry. Sommer coordinates your appointments and will assist in the financial aspects of dental care, from insurance benefits to payment arrangements. She has helped manage several different facilities, including a large women’s medical facility. She is originally from Beaumont, Texas, but has spent most of her life in Austin. She enjoys her two dogs and playing flute in the church orchestra.
Mari Coronado – Chairside Assistant
Mari is a certified dental assistant and has been with Dr. Gordon since February 2005. Her responsibility is to make sure your dental procedures run smoothly and you are comfortable. Originally from Chicago, Mari moved to Texas in 2000. She holds an Associate Degree in Child Development, and has worked for Austin Community College in the acclaimed children’s lab school. She has one son.
Tricia Vaughan – Hygienist
Tricia graduated from Lamar University’s dental hygiene program in Beaumont, Texas after working as a dental assistant for several years. She has been with Dr. Gordon since July 2003. Tricia will help you with several facets of your dental care. She will educate you about your home care along with your dental cleanings. Tricia moved to Austin from Minnesota at age nine. She enjoys the outdoors and watersports.
Lisa Rehak – Hygienist
Lisa joined Dr. Gordon in February 2006 and brings the most experience to our dental team. She will help you with several facets of your dental care. Lisa will educate you about your home care along with your dental cleanings. She is a true Austinite and has two daughters, both of whom graduated from Texas A&M University.
